To Our Valued Clients,

As you are aware the recent pandemic associated with the Covid-19

Virus has resulted in some modifications to the way we approach our

day to day activities.  The ultimate goal is to keep everyone safe and

healthy by recognizing potential risks and mitigating them to the

furthest extent possible. Maintaining physical distancing is the best

proven deterrent to minimizing the potential of acquiring the virus.

At Finz Resort we hold the health and safety of our customers in the

highest regard. To that end we have taken the following steps related

to the various business sectors of the resort.

Bar and Grill will be closing for the season on September 12, 2021.

Reservations are recommended.

Administration Office & Store are open 10 am to 5 pm.

Marina The physical distancing risks associated with Marina operations are very low and as such we opened the Marina as planned on April 15th. Gas sales are open from 10 am to 5 pm with some slight changes to the process.  We ask that you give us some notice when you will need gas and come to the pump alone. Gloves will be available at the pump and we will have the operator dispense the fuel to their boat. Credit or debit cards are preferred methods of payment. We ask that you park in the designated Marina parking and proceed directly to your boat while maintaining a safe distance (2.5m) from any other patrons you may encounter along the way.

Campground Similar to the Marina, the Campground has a low risk of physical interaction provided campers stick to their site and adhere to the physical distancing requirements, therefore the campground is open. Laundry is open. The campground washrooms and showers are currently open at this time however, may be closed without notice so it is imperative that all campers have the ability to be fully self-contained. Firewood will be made available, further details on the process will be developed. Tents will only be allowed on site providing they are with a trailer that is fully contained.

As indicated it is imperative that social distancing protocols be observed, meaning that when you visit the resort to enjoy your camper or boat, you do so only with your immediate family members with whom you reside with, no other guests whatsoever.  If you or anyone you have been in contact with are feeling sick we ask that you please stay home.

We are continuing to work through details as new information develops and any further fine tuning of the process will be communicated.  None of these measures reduce your individual requirements to self-isolate if returning from anywhere outside your regularly traveled zone (i.e, snowbirds) as well as staying home if you are feeling ill or suspect you may have come in contact with someone who is.

We ask again that you please respect each other and the resort staff and maintain your distance while enjoying your recreational activities.
